This team project has taught me a lot. Not only did I gain knowledge about early skin to skin contact and the impact on a premature newborns development, but I learned how to collaborate with my team members in an effective way. As Nurses, we have to be able to work as a team and bounce ideas off each other. I am open to new ideas and new information and when working with others, it’s important to learn and grow from those ideas. Our patients deserve the best care possible and I believe that in order to do so, we have to be open minded and willing to work together.

This paper really was a learning process and I think that it made us better future nurses. We each had ideas about what we wanted to discuss in our paper and it was interesting to see our ideas combined into a final paper. We had a very effective system as to how we completed our paper. We all discussed the articles each of us focused on and combined into a paper that flowed. We all worked very effectively together and overall this was a successful paper.
