I think that in order for a classroom to run smoothly, there has to be classroom management plans put in place at the beginning of the year in case you were ever to need it. Not only does it prepare you for possible obstacles, but it prepares the students for possible obstacles. You may not know all the different classroom management plans at the begging of the year, but it is important to formulate these plans with the students and share them with administrators and other teachers in case they were to ever refer to them.

Lesson Plan

Reflection

Above is my classroom management plan that I made previously in the semester. I feel as though this is a relevant assignment to back up why I either want to be a teacher or some sort of health care worker. In any profession, there has to be plans and agendas that you need to do in order to reach your goal. Whether the end goal is getting better or whether its about be able to read a chapter by yourself by the end of the quarter. Both of these assignments above really made me feel like a teacher and it made me realize how much of an impact I could have on a child’s life. Children no matter the setting will most likely look at the adult and think they are in charge but you also have to understand how to make sure you’re in control while also being a human and being personable.

This will improve my practice because I now feel more comfortable making classroom management plans and lesson plans. I didn’t realize the importance of having procedures and plans. Both of these types of plans and procedures are essential to being the best teacher or health care worker. If you don’t have a plan or a goal there is nothing to work towards. You have to be able to help all and make sure have tools that are accessible to everyone.
