Reflection on Learning Outcomes

Introduction-

I changed a lot in my introduction. At first, I didn’t really have a clear thesis so in my final I made it a point to make it clear. I also got straight to the point in my final and made it so that I had a clear argument that was going to be referred back to throughout my paper.

Evidence and Explanations-

I did add new evidence throughout my paper but I also shortened a lot of quotes I was referring back to the authors. I noticed I didn’t really use a lot of “I Say” and I did use a lot of “They say”. When trying to prove my point, I made sure that in my final I went straight to the point instead of somewhat avoiding it like I did in my first draft.

Reorganization-

I didn’t move paragraphs around but I did take out some paragraphs or portions that I found weren’t really relevant in my piece. I noticed that I was sort of rambling around and that I didn’t have a clear focus in each paragraph so I shortened some of my paragraphs and even took out one or two paragraphs.

New Paragraphs-

My paper was a little bit longer than my first draft and I noticed that my conclusion was longer and that my introduction was longer. I did take out a paragraph at the beginning where I found was kind of redundant and made it so that my paper flowed more. Overall, I went through each paragraph and either shortened what I was trying to say or made my point clearer by adding more evidence.
