Part 1-

 

Introduction- I completely changed my introduction in comparison  to my first draft. At first, I didn’t really have a structured introduction so when I went back to reread my essay, I completely changed it.

Evidence and Explanations- I added a lot more evidence as I moved from my first to final draft. I realized that I pulled in Gees’ discourse tools to my paper. I added a whole new section on practices and the importance of why practice is a key role in scientific discourse.

Reorganization- I moved if not all of my paragraphs around. I had the information I wanted to discuss but I wanted to make it so that it was organized more. I moved around my thoughts and added new paragraphs and added transition sentences so it made sense throughout the paper. I think I completely switched around each paragraph, the outline from my original draft and my final look somewhat alike content wise but organizational wise, its all different.

New Paragraphs- I added a lot of new paragraphs in my paper. Some of my paragraphs weren’t necessarily new but the ideas within the paragraph switched around so it basically a new paragraph. These new paragraphs and new ideas all made my paper connect so much more smoothly and I am proud of the outcome.
